Welcome to my Website
To view images for the Stamp Fair Auction being held on 19 October, please click on this link.
The following summary will assist in Navigating This Site to find the items of most interest to you.
Our stock is listed via the Headings on the left. You will have to click on these links to access the categories and images of items available for direct purchase. For example, click on 'Kangaroos' and five categories appear. Click on 1913 1st Watermark and images of 1st Watermark Kangaroo stamps appear in two formats.
The First Format are thumbnail templates containing 32 images. Click on a thumbnail and it will enlarge to show 32 stamps in Stanley Gibbons Catalogue order with the option to purchase any item via the Shopping Cart. You can of course also send your order by mail or email by listing the code numbers of the stamps you would like to buy. The template format gives clear images but they cannot be further enlarged and are not suitable for pairs, blocks, covers etc.
The Second Format, below the templates, provides single item images up to four across the page. Click on an image and it will enlarge to give higher definition, often with extra description. The description does not necessarily include details which are self evident from the image. All blocks, selvedge stamps, covers, postal stationery and some stamps with important Plate Flaws are in this format.
Condition: generally no comment is made on aspects of condition that are obvious from the image eg centreing, perfs etc. Other defects are noted in the description. Standard symbols are also used :-
** = Fine Mint Unhinged (**) = Less than Fine Mint Unhinged * = Fine Mint Lightly Hinged (*) = Less than Fine Mint = Fine Used () = Less than Fine Used CTO = Cancelled to Order
A 'G' (Generic) symbol in the lower right corner of an enlarged image indicates that the image is representative and a typical example of the item being offered.
